Gonorrhea Screening

USPSTF: United States Preventative Services Task Force
The USPSTF recommends screening for gonorrhea in all sexually active women 24 years and younger and in women 25 years or older who are at increased risk for infection.
Notes:
This recommendation applies to asymptomatic, sexually active adolescents and indults including pregnant persons.
Bright Futures recommends sexually transmitted infection screening be conducted if risk assessment is positive between 11-21 years
